Dr. Diane Hilal-Campo is a Board Certified General Ophthalmologist who is highly skilled in both medical and surgical eyecare. Dr. Hilal-Campo has been practicing in Oakland, New Jersey for more than 23 years. She is a graduate of Columbia University, and was in the first class that accepted women at Columbia College in 1987. Dr. Hilal-Campo then went on to receive her medical degree from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Columbia and then went on to complete her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Hilal-Campo is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and an active member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. She is also a founding member of a group for female Ophthalmologists in New Jersey.

Dr. Diane Hilal-Campo takes great pride and pleasure in using her medical expertise to help people around the world. She has spent time in both India and Africa on medical missions where she provided cataract surgeries to those in need.Dr. Hilal-Campo is a longtime resident of northern New Jersey where she practices. She raised her two daughters in Ridgewood, NJ and enjoys being involved in the community both through her children's activities and her own.

Dr. Eric M. Saunders, MD joined Dr. Campo's practice in January 2022. He is a board-certified general ophthalmologist who also specializes in LASIK and laser vision correction. He has been practicing ophthalmology post training for more than 20 years!

He has a B.A degree from Hiram College. His M.D is from The Johns Hopkins University of Medicine. His medical internship was done at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. His ophthalmology residency was done at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He did a one-year fellowship in LASIK and laser vision correction in a private practice with Dr. Trevor Woodhams. He has a combined 20 year work experience practicing ophthalmology out of Ridgewood Ophthalmology and The Valley Medical Group. Dr. Saunders is married with 3 children and loves to sing in his free time!
